Camp Worship and Wonder and Tenderfoot Camp are both camps of the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ's Outdoor Ministries. Worship and Wonder is for youth and children completing grades 3 through 10. Youth completing grade 11 or the age of 17 the week of camp are eligible to be Counselors-in-Training. Tenderfoot Camp is a 3 day/2 night camp for children completing kindergarten through 2nd grade. Children completing grade 3 who are not ready for a full week camp are welcome to come to Tenderfoot as well.
At camp, youth and children will have the opportunity to participate in a number of different activities (some activities are limited to certain age ranges): high ropes, low initiatives, archery, paddle-boating and canoeing in the pond, swimming in the pool, campfires, crafts, nature hikes, creek walks, and more. We have worship every day which follows our curriculum and theme for the week. This year's theme is "All Things New: See What God is Doing." The week is full of fun, fellowship, worship, and the great outdoors.
Being at camp is being in the midst of God's wonderful creation! It is an opportunity to grow in faith and to meet new friends that will last a lifetime!
